Discord integration

Post ScrimSync requests where your team talks.

Use the ScrimSync bot to share schedule requests and results inside Discord without manually rewriting event details.

Workflow

How to use it

Create a schedule request

Open Create, set the event details, and save the schedule request to your dashboard.

Connect a team channel

Open a managed team, save the Discord server ID, default channel ID, and optional role ID.

Post from ScrimSync

From an event request page, post the schedule request or reminder directly to the saved team channel, with optional role mentions.

Keep results moving

Post results from the results page. Tracked Discord messages update instead of creating duplicate posts.

Setup checklist

Before posting from ScrimSync

Enable Developer Mode

In Discord settings, enable Developer Mode so you can right-click servers, channels, and roles to copy IDs.

Save team IDs

In ScrimSync team management, paste the server ID, default channel ID, and optional team role ID.

Check bot access

The bot needs access to view and send messages in the selected channel. Role mentions require that the bot can mention that role.

Choose when to ping

Captains can post quietly or mention the saved team role when sending requests and reminders. Results posts stay quiet.

Bot access

Available for approved servers.

ScrimSync's Discord bot is live for selected servers while public installation is being prepared. Join the ScrimSync Discord or email us if you want help adding it to a team server.

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes

Commands do not show up

Confirm the bot is invited to the server. Test-server commands update quickly; public commands can take longer to appear.

A link does not work

Use a response link that starts with /e/ for event commands and a results link that starts with /results/ for results commands.

The bot cannot post to a channel

Confirm the saved channel ID is correct and that the bot can view and send messages in that channel.

Role mention does not ping

Confirm the team role ID is saved, the mention toggle is on, and the bot is allowed to mention that role.

The bot is offline

Contact ScrimSync support with the server name and channel where you expected the bot to respond.
